I offer coaching for presentations: message development and delivery.
I recorded the presentations on the left with audio explanations of their content and design. (They can be played with Apple's Quicktime.)
The first one represents some of what's wrong with powerpoint: disconnected slides, overuse of bullet lists, and cheesy animations. Missing here are essay-like quotes, offensive graphics, and technical difficulties.
The second one represents my use of powerpoint: a set of sign-posts and visual signals that organize and direct everyone towards the conversation that's happening. Missing from my work is visual communication. I am learning to create and deploy helpful pictures and animations.
The progression between the two slide decks displays the work I do for most businesspeople: practice and perfect important pitches.
